Mixing Essential Oils For The Physical Body

Muscle Relief
Peppermint, Rosemary, Lavender

I created this blend to use in my massage therapy practice for sore muscles. It is completely organic and more cost effective than using over the counter topical pain relievers and the aroma is much nicer too. Use for sore muscles and pain relief, add a few drops to lotion and apply to body or add 10 drops to 1 cup Epsom salt for bath

Breathe Easy
Eucalyptus, Fir Needle, Lemongrass

This easy aromatherapy recipes blend is effective for all types of respiratory conditions, it is also highly anti microbial and will kill germs when used in a diffuser. For massage therapists it works great on a tissue underneath the face rest, to keep your clients nose from getting stuffy. The scent is clean and fresh and enjoyed by almost everyone. Use for colds, flu, sinus congestion, and respiratory issues. Add 10 drops to electric diffuser or put a few drops on cotton ball and inhale. Can also make an inhalation treatment by putting 10 drops in a bowl of hot water and covering head with a towel for 5 minutes.

Mixing Essential Oils For The Mental Body

Stress Relief
Lavender, Geranium, Ylang Ylang

Stress is a problem for many people especially in the workplace. I find this oil to be very effective for women and when combined with deep breathing, it provides almost instant relief. This oil is not sedative or stimulating, it is balancing to the central nervous system and ylang ylang has been shown to reduce blood pressure in clinical studies.

Use for stress, negative moods, emotional upsets and pms, add to diffuser, bath or massage oil.

Energizing
Tropical Basil, Rosemary, Lime

This blend is for mental fatigue and will give a quick boost to the nervous system. It works best by inhalation but a few drops can also be added to the bath or for a massage. Many clients like to smell it directly out of the bottle after lunchtime to stay alert at work and combat the afternoon slump. I've been told It's more effective than a cup of coffee!

Use to increase alertness and concentration, add to diffuser or put a few drops on a tissue or cotton ball.

Mixing Essential Oils For The Emotional Body

Relaxation
Lavender, Clary Sage, Orange

Everyone who gets a massage wants to relax, this blend will work wonders to calm the mind so the client can get the best results from their session. This blend is perfect after a long day at work to help you unwind and to smell before bedtime to sleep peacefully. lavender and clary sage are anti-spasmodics and are effective for reducing muscular tension and headaches. In China the scent of orange is considered the oil of joy and promotes tranquility and happiness.

Use for calming and soothing nerves and insomnia. Great for in massage oil, a diffuser or in the bath.

CosmicFlower
Vanilla, Sandalwood, Lavender, Combava, Orange, Neroli

CosmicFlower is my signature scent and my best selling blend. I created it for women but men really like it too! I wanted something that reminded me of Florida so I combined all three parts of the orange tree together. The fruit, which is the peel of the orange, the flower which is neroli and the leaves which is combava. I added Lavender for its clean floral notes, sandalwood for its rich earthiness, and vanilla for its sweet sensuality. Therapeutically these oils have an uplifting quality and many spas carry this blend for Swedish massage.Use for depression, anxiety or as a feel good spa treatment. A few drops can be applied as a perfume too.

Mixing Essential Oils For The Spiritual Body

Enlightenment
Patchouli, May Chang, Lavender

The inspiration for this blend was my love for yoga. I wanted something with the mystical aroma of incense but almost all incense contains synthetic fragrance. This smells sensual, earthy and strong, with just a touch of lemony undertones.Use during prayer, meditation, yoga or as a sensual body oil. Add to massage oil, lotion or a diffuser. A few drops can be applied to the chakras for energetic healing.

Meditation
Frankincense, Lavender, Fragonia

This is one of my favorite blends and I created it for my personal meditation practice. If you have tried this yourself you know how challenging it can be to quite the mind and stay focused on your spiritual goals. Frankincense has been used for thousands of years for worship and prayer, fragonia which is new to the world of aromatherapy has magical qualities that are now being discovered and lavender will help you to relax and enjoy the moment.

Use during prayer and meditation to calm mind and relax body, add to diffuser or bath
