  1. In the kneeling posture, sit back onto your heels.

  2. Use cushions under the buttocks for more comfort

  3. spread the feet apart and sit between your feet if you desire

  4. keep your back and neck straight and lengthened.

  5. Place your palms in your lap or on your thighs

  6. take a few minutes and turn your senses inward

  7. be aware of your natural breathing

  8. repeat silently, om as you breathe in

  9. and om as you breathe out.

  10. When you have completed your meditation, slowly come out of the pose
