- Lie flat on the floor, legs bent, feet close to buttocks
- have your arms next to your body to stabilize yourself
- exhale, push down with your legs, lift your pelvis and trunk toward the sky
- hold the pose for as long as you desire, breathing in and out deeply
- when ready, exhale down to the floor. Rest.
- A variation to this pose is straightening one leg toward the sky
Don't perform any asana's, or any exercise that causes you discomfort or pain.
