  1. Lie flat on the floor, legs bent, feet close to buttocks

  2. have your arms next to your body to stabilize yourself

  3. exhale, push down with your legs, lift your pelvis and trunk toward the sky

  4. hold the pose for as long as you desire, breathing in and out deeply

  5. when ready, exhale down to the floor. Rest.

  6. A variation to this pose is straightening one leg toward the sky

Don't perform any asana's, or any exercise that causes you discomfort or pain.
