  1. Begin by standing, spread legs wider than your hips

  2. adjust to your comfort level, then, extend the spine up, gently scooping sacrum down and under

  3. exhale, bend forward at the hips, hands on hips or extended over head

  4. keeping the legs tight, the target is for palms and head to touch the floor.

  5. This is a stretch for most people, but with practice, you'll become more flexible.

  6. Hold the pose and breathe, being aware of your whole body.

  7. Use props, like the back of a chair to help you in the pose.

  8. When complete, slowly bring your up to standing.
