Ellen felt as if her mother were close by orchestrating the entire process.
Three classes were born from this initial group.
It felt like time for expansion in the spring of the following year...
it was then that arrangements were made to renovate and rent the space which is 's current home.
A grand opening celebration was held on September 12, 1997. It was a crowded and joy-filled affair.
ONE Yoga Center
During the process of moving, Ellen decided to name the center.
The name and the visual image for the logo came to her in a meditation following her yoga practice.
She describes an experience where she felt herself as being contained within the universe and being larger than the universe in the same moment.
Ellen states that in that moment she knew beyond a doubt that we are all -- a beautiful personal understanding of the interconnectedness of all of life.
