- Soak them in a few drops of grapefruit seed extract and two to four cups of filtered water, depending on the amount of vegetables or fruit you are soaking
- soak for five to fifteen minutes, or longer, depending on the vegetable or fruit
- for beans and lentils, soak from two hours to overnight, depending on the bean
- drain, pouring filtered water over your veggies or beans
- cook as you desire
